Overall responsibility for HSE performance. Ultimate authority to make decisions affecting project HSE, approving major HSE expenditures, implementing corrective actions from significant incidents, and ensuring compliance with contractual HSE obligations.
Responsible for HSE performance and implementation of HSE measures within scope of work. Manages resource allocation for HSE functions, develops and delivers HSE training programs, and reports regularly to Project Manager on HSE performance.
Conduct daily site safety inspections, enforce safe work practices, investigate accidents and near misses, provide safety training, issue stop-work orders for immediate safety hazards, conduct risk assessments, maintain HSE records and documentation, administer permit-to-work system, and conduct HSE inductions.
Support HSE Engineers in daily operations, conduct workplace inspections, monitor compliance with safety procedures, assist in incident investigations, maintain HSE documentation, and promote safety awareness among workers.
